Block Out Level 5 Walkthroughs & Guide
Block Out Level 5 is cleared by sending the yellow squares out first, then the blue squares, and leaving the two red bars for last. It has far more moves than the first four levels, so follow along with the video above.
The board is 4 columns wide and 6 rows tall and is packed full. Two red bars, each three squares tall, stand in the top-right and bottom-left. Every other space is a single yellow or blue square in a checkerboard pattern. The red gate covers the top half of the left edge, the blue gate is at the bottom of the left edge, and the yellow gate is at the bottom of the right edge.
Step 1. Clear the Yellow Squares Through the Bottom-Right Gate
Slide the yellow squares one at a time through the yellow gate in the bottom-right corner. Each yellow square that leaves opens a gap for the next one.

Step 2. Keep the Blue Squares Packed Together
As the yellows leave, slide the blue squares into the gaps so they stay out of the yellow squares' way. Keep the bottom-right lane open until every yellow square is out.

Step 3. Clear the Blue Squares and the Red Bars
With no yellow left, only blue squares and the two red bars remain. Send the blue squares out through the blue gate at the bottom of the left edge and the red bars out through the red gate at the top of the left edge.

Notes and Precautions
- The bottom-left red bar sits right next to the blue gate. Plan when it moves so it does not cut the blue squares off from their gate.
- There are many single squares of the same color. Moving one can open or close a path for another, so check before each drag.
Tips and Tricks
- On a packed board, clear the color whose gate is easiest to reach first. Here that is yellow in the bottom-right corner.
- Watch the video from 0:36 if you lose track. This level has too many single-square moves to list one by one.
Final Scene in Block Out Level 5
When the last red bar and blue square are gone, the board is empty and the level is complete.
Level 5 is the first long level. Go back to Level 4, or continue to Level 6.
